A battle of the senses

Never have we so strongly had to ignore our sense of smell. But the sight was not sore on the eyes. Touring around the Charles Helou bus station right in the heart of Beirut was, as you already know, rank and putrid, but the gems we found were worth the effort of holding our breath and – most importantly – NOT FALLING. The ominous puddles we did not choose to trust.
